If life has been hectic, and you’ve been feeling a deep call to slow down, rebalance and reconnect with yourself, I can support you to feel energised and at home in your body again...
I’m pretty woo woo these days, but I wasn’t always!

My love of nature began with my mum, a zoologist and teacher who showed me how to live seasonally and grow food from the earth. She was diagnosed with cancer at 36, and I would watch her in the garden from the window, seeing how nature seemed to soothe & heal her and bring her peace.

After she died when I was ten, I had awful panic attacks, particularly at night, so I'd look out of the window find stars like Orion and Sirius, feeling both tiny and comforted by something bigger. Watching the night sky soothed my anxious heart, and I learned early that the natural world holds deep healing if we slow down enough to listen. That connection to nature is still where I return when I need grounding, clarity or courage.

But for a long time, I didn’t have that peace.
After losing my mum, I turned to food for comfort and got bullied at school for being overweight. I hated PE, until a kind teacher took me under her wing and showed me how to love exercise. It triggered a fascination in me about the human body, and I went from being the unsporty kid to doing GCSEs in Human Biology and PE.

But even with my physical health improving, my mental health remained in tatters throughout my teens and into my adult life. With no therapy or discussion around my mum’s death, I was angry and anxious – always chasing something to fill the space her loss left behind, so I turned to partying, alcohol and drugs to numb what I couldn’t name. I had no idea what healing really looked like, but I knew this wasn’t it.

My Eat, Pray, Love moment
At 21, I walked into a yoga class on a friend’s suggestion, and for 90 minutes I was completely present for the first time in years. I wasn’t thinking, worrying or remembering – I was just there. Yoga became my lifeline. It helped me listen to my body again instead of punishing it.

That practice eventually took me to India for teacher training, through a divorce, and through malaria (because life loves a plot twist). It also opened the door to something deeper: learning how to live in tune with my body, not against it.

At this stage in my life, now in my 30s, I had been suffering with skin, digestive and hormonal issues for over a year. Rounds of antibiotics weren’t helping clear my skin and had disrupted my digestion. The birth control pill that I had been prescribed in turn disrupted my hormones too.

I felt helpless and disempowered with my health and felt frustrated that my “healthy” vegan/vegetarian diet wasn’t changing anything.
When conventional medicine couldn’t help, I turned to nutrition and kinesiology out of desperation (incidentally, a place many of my clients have reached when they come to me).
Discovering how the body communicates what it needs through gentle muscle testing changed my whole outlook on health – and so did the results. This holistic approach finally helped me recover from my chronic health issues, and taught me to live once more in tune with my body and the seasons.
I had finally I found something that treats the person as a whole, pinpointing the root cause of body imbalance rather than solely firefighting symptoms and disease alone.
This for me and my health was a total game changer. And that’s why I wanted to bring this to other people through my work.

Over time, I built a way of living that blends all these threads: yoga for presence, nutrition for fuel, kinesiology for understanding and seasonal living for balance. It’s how I stay in flow – and it’s what I help others find too.

Vision
Living in the Flow of Life - My Philosophy
Today, everything I offer from Get on Your Mat Yoga classes in Henley & online, to 1:1 kinesiology and nutrition consultations for women in person and worldwide online is about reconnecting to your natural rhythm.

I work with people who feel disconnected from themselves – burnt out, bloated, exhausted, overthinking – and help them find their way back home to their bodies.

Sometimes that looks like a kinesiology session that uncovers what’s really driving your symptoms. Sometimes it’s a yoga retreat that gives you the stillness to breathe again. Sometimes it’s nutrition guidance to rebuild from the inside out.
