My top 3 supplements to beat the lurgies - Part 2




Continuing on from last week's blog where I shared my top 3 healing tips for when the cold/flu/virus hits, as promised here's my go to supplements I take to rebalance and build my immune system.

 

First, reminder of the symptoms I experienced - sore throat, felt like swallowing razors, aching muscles, headache, nausea, upset tum, brain fog, zero energy pretty much sums it up. I've also heard similar from my clients so here's my top 3 supplements to help the body heal and build immune system are:

 

VITAMIN C - a water soluble vitamin that needs to be taken through the day in regular dose as the body cannot hold it, any excess is peed out. Stress chomps this Vitamin UP so if you're stressed stock up! It enhances white cell function and helps the body's SAS - see below) No a fizzy tablet like Berocca is not gonna cut it.

I always recommend 1g yup 1000mg an hour when you're sick to bowel tolerance - good to know....once the body has it's fill of Vit C the bowels will start to loosen a little, nothing to worry about just a communication which is amazing right? (it also helps to make collagen & is a natural anti-histamine)

Nb: when I had covid I was taking 8g's a day that's how much my body needed daily to heal

B COMPLEX - a blend of 8 B vitamins that work not only with digestion & nervous system but also help with immune cell health via white blood cells who are the SAS of our body, seeking & destroying viruses & bacteria.
