My top 3 tips in beating the lurgy Part One! 




Last week this cold, flu, virus thing hit me head on so much so I didn't leave my bed for three days. Urghhh. BUT! I reframe it as an immune system upgrade and now my body is ready to tackle ALL the nasties that this year throws at me. BOOM.

My symptoms were sore throat like swallowing razors, aching muscles, headache, nausea, upset tum, brain fog, zero energy pretty much sums it up. I've also heard similar from my clients so here's my top 3 tips in helping my body heal: 

 

  1. REST your muscles ache and you have no energy for a reason your body knows exactly how to heal but it needs cooperation and a helping hand in the form of rest. We live in a go go go state available 24/7, immediately answering messages at all times day & night, no boundaries or very few, not making time for proper rest through the day. We are not designed for this. I repeat we are not designed for this. Copy? The body can get to work to do the healing aka housework and get you better quicker - not amazon prime delivery rate but quicker than if you desperately "TRY" to keep going engaging with struggle culture. OK you get the picture, rest my friend...please.


  2. HYDRATE - it brings nutrients to our cells, helps the body get rid of waste, regulates body temperature, helps form stools, helps every single organ in the body including the brain and a headache is a classic symptom of dehydration.
